 _"But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (Mark 14:61-62)_

The high priest was amazed that, the Lord was not saying anything to justify himself concerning all the allegations laid against Him. He was curious to asked Jesus, '...Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?'. The scripture says, 'but Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.' It seems trying to justify himself was none His business and mere waste of time, because He understood all that was going on, which was for a purpose. 

Almost immediately after Jesus' silence to the question, the high priest inquired further and asked him;  “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” and without hesitation Jesus responded that "I am" affirming His messianic mission and calling for which purpose He was born. He was so convinced and confident about that. 

He had to assure the high priest further that, he would see "the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” It should not be too late to believe that, Jesus Christ of Nazareth is He that was sent by God to be the Messiah who will save His people from their sins, because whether we believe it or not; We shall all see him in glory at His second coming and those who do not believe shall all be ashamed and find themselves to blame.

I worship you Yahweh for whom you are. I believe that you are sent by God to save me from sin and death. Let this conviction be also affirmed in the heart of every members of my family, church, and nations in Jesus name. Amen!
