 _'And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.' (Revelation 5:11-12)._

*Worthy is the Lamb that Was Slain*

The hosts of heaven acknowledges the great sacrifice of the Lamb of God. He was slain for the redemption of mankind. He paid the utmost price to clinch for the victory, through His death and resurrection. The angels round about the throne, the beasts and the elders in heaven, whose number were said to be ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands raised up their voices in unison to acclaim the power, glory and honour, that the Lamb that was slain deserved. 

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ didn't only have effect on humanity. It made Him attained a higher level of authority and power, which makes the Angels and the hosts of heaven to worship Him, as the Son of the living God. "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians  2:6-10)

It's not only the heavenly bodies that acknowledges the worthiness of the Lamb of God. The authority of the name of Jesus Christ cut across the things in heaven, things in earth, and things under the earth. 'And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.' (Revelation  5:13). He deserve all the glory and honour, for He has purchased redemption for all mankind by His blood.

Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge the greatness of your power and glory. Thou, art worthy oh Lord to receive glory, honour and power. Amen!
