Nahum  1:3

_"The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.  1:4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.  1:5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein."_

*#The LORD is Slow to Anger and Great in Power*

It is very true, that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as it might look in our own sight. There is apparently nothing that can hinder God's Judgement upon the world. Though, God is very kind and merciful, not willing that any should perish.

The patience of God is to provide opportunity for as many to come to repentance and be saved from His impending wrath. He is giving the inhabitants of the earth enough time to turn their wicked hearts to Him and obtain His mercy. The Lord is slow to anger and exceedingly great in power. He has the authority and power to subject all things unto Himself.

He has His way in the whirlwind and the storm. He can penetrate every closed places of the world. Yet, He is a righteousness God and does His things in righteousness. The foundation of His kingdom is righteousness and truth. He will judge the world in righteousness, that no flesh will have any valid excuse before Him.

You don't have all the time to keep messing up, arise and wash yourself in the blood of the Lamb, before the time of grace elapsed. We don't have all the time on our side to  preach the gospel, now is the acceptable time, because tomorrow might just be too late. The Lord doesn't suddenly expose people. He gives them time to change their ways, but withdraws the covering after the time of grace is over. 'Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.' (2 Corinthians 5:11).

#God bless you!

๐Ÿ™PRAYER

I'm grateful Lord for your patience and tender mercies. Let your mercy speak for me and my generation. Save us from the coming wrath upon the inhabitants of the world, in Jesus name. Amen!
