*#THE CONFIDENCE THAT WE HAVE IN HIM*

1 John  5:12 

 _"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:"_ 

 *#THE CONFIDENCE THAT WE HAVE IN HIM* 

There are children who are so confidence in their father, because they know the kind of father that they have through their intimate relationship. They know that their father is capable and would be ready to grant their good and well pleasing requests, whenever they go to Him for help.

A bastard cannot have such confidence, but hide his face to make requests,  he may not even dare to go near his presence. Apostle John wrote his epistle to believers, that they may know that they have eternal life, in as much they have the Son of God dwelling inside of them. 

You gain confidence in Him, when you believe in the Son of God. It's in the Son of God, that your identity is revealed as a child of God. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12)

It is those who become children of God by believing in the Son of God; that have access to the Father. And the confidence that we have in Christ Jesus is that when we make requests according to the will of God, he hears us. Some prayers are not answered, because they are outside the will of God, it doesn't even get to the ears of God. We need to learn to pray according to His will to get answers to our petitions.

Jesus, the Son of the living God. I believe in you, answer my prayers according to the will of God the Father, in Jesus name. Amen!
