The disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost and speak with other tongues. It was the Spirit that gave them utterance, not something they cooked up to say. There was a push from the depths of the Spirit that they had just received, bringing out from the inside of them a language which they have never learned. It was as if they were drunk and really indeed with the  Spirit not with wine which the onlookers guessed.

It was so amazing, that people from other nations who were presently at Jerusalem at that time heard them speak in their own native languages and busted out to say one to another, 'Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?' (Acts  2:6-8)

The experience they saw with their eyes that day, caught their attention and opened their hearts to receive the word of God that Peter preached and led to the conversion of three thousand souls among them that gathered. It was the beginning of revival in the early church.

There is an utterance that comes along with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and that is speaking in tongues. It flows from the well of the rivers of life. It edifies your Spirit. The Spirit in you is a person, so He can speak. It has capacity to speak both heavenly and earthly languages. It makes intercession according to the very depths of that which is in the heart of the Father.

 _'Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.' (Romans  8:26)_

Father, I glorify your holy name. Let your Spirit fill me up and give me utterance  to speak the mystery of your kingdom unto men, in Jesus name. Amen!
