 'You are a lion’s cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. (Genesis 49:9-10) 

🔀 *A Lion's Cub* 🔀

Jacob prophesied concerning each twelve children, as he was about to give up the ghost. The prophecies were very accurate and precise. The confirmations in the latter days and time were clear evidence of this truth. In this prophecy, Judah was said to be a lion's cub. Lion cub means a young lion I.e baby lion. 

The scepter of authority was placed in the tribe of Judah and kept there until he to whom it belongs shall come I.e the Lion of the tribe of Judah. This is a mystery, a lion's cub was to preserve the scepter and ruler's staff until the arrival of the Lion Himself. The prophecy speaks about braveness and courage. 

A lion's cub is a lion in the making. The son of lion resembles lion. You dare not arouse him. He returns from the prey. He has the backing of the father. The Lord is raising many lion's cubs in this end time. They will serve God's purposes in keeping and preserving the scepter of authority until the second coming of the great Lion I.e Jesus Christ the Son of God and the obedience of the nations shall be His.

Almighty Father, be thou glorified. Open my eyes to see in the light of that which you have called me and chose me to be, in Jesus name. Amen!
