James 5:19-20 (KJV)
"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
*#Save a Soul from Death*
There are people who have err from the truth and there are sinners who have not even know the truth. The both categories of people needs a conversion of their souls from error, that they may be saved from death. "For the wages of sin is death;..." (Rom. 6:23)
There must be a preacher to convert sinners from the error of his way. Sinners also have a responsibility to repent after hearing the truth of the gospel and be ready to be converted. Then, finally God Himself plays His part and do the work of conversion in the heart of the sinner through the Holy Spirit.
"He who wins souls is wise." (Prov. 11:30). The greatest work that brings joy to heaven is soul winning. God wants to reach out to sinners through men, who have believed the gospel to save them from death. Not, just from ordinary death but eternal death. Sinners, only have the opportunity to repent and be converted in this life, no more chance after death.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
(Hebrews 9:27 KJV)
Do not hesitate to rescue the perishing. Correct those that are erring from the truth in love. Warn them of the disasters lying ahead for the unsaved. Now, is the acceptable time for salvation, tomorrow may be too late.

Father, awake me to soul winning. Break all the barriers to effective evangelism in our generation. Save souls from death and convert sinners by your mighty power, as we preach your word through any means in Jesus name. Amen!
