Hebrews
_3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin._
*#Take heed, Brethren.*
The Lord is sounding a warning to us again, this day. Brethren, let's take heed of the word of God. If, we don't take good heed, we may find out shortly, that an evil heart of unbelief is allowed to enter into our lives, which can result in departing from the living God.
There are lots of backslider today, though they still go to church but no longer in the faith. Don't be surprise, if they eventually cut off from the church. Backsliding is not what happens suddenly, it happens gradually. That is why, we must take heed, whenever we notice any sign of unbelief, before it takes a deep root inside of us and eventually force us out of continuing in the faith.
We are instructed by the word of God, that we should exhort one another daily. This is what can keep our souls from being harden, through deceitfulness of sin. The word of God, that you read or hear daily is very important. It refreshes the soul and enable you to make adjustments in any area that the HolyGhost is addressing. It is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. It reads your mind and set it right.
_"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."(Hebrews 4:12)_
Take heed, don't let any day pass by without engaging yourself with the word of God. 'Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.' Be careful of what you hear or listen to. It is only the word of God that brings faith into the heart. Faith, through the word of God is what we need to overcome every obstacles in the journey of life. 'This is the victory that overcomes the world even our faith.'

Father, I thank you for the grace that you have bestowed upon me to know the truth that sets free. I receive the grace to take heed to the word of God, that I have heard this day. Let it abide forever in me, in Jesus name. Amen!
