_Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law._
*#The Fruit of the Spirit*
The new man, which we receive when we become born again produces a kind of fruit different from that which the old nature bears before we encounter Christ.
Every tree, that bears fruit doesn't suddenly start bearing fruit the same day it is planted. It is until it grows up to a certain level of maturity before the fruit begins to come out. Fruit is part of the nature of the tree, but if there is no adequate growth to that point of bearing fruit, there will be no any fruit on it. That is why, the farmers makes extra efforts to add fertilizer and prune it, so that it can bear much fruit.
Spiritual growth is inevitable, if we are to bear the fruit of the Spirit. The moment you stop growing, you stop bearing fruit. We must nurture our Spirit man with spiritual food of the word of God, for us to reach that level of bringing forth spiritual fruit without any difficulties. There will be struggle in bearing the fruit of the spirit, if we keep allowing the carnal nature to dominate, because we do not feed our Spirit well.
If, we are not seeing the manifestation of the fruit of the spirit that is mentioned in the main text in our individual lives, it means something is wrong somewhere in our spiritual growth. The God of creation who have planted us in his vineyard does not tolerate unfruitfulness.
_"Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."_
That, you think to say you are a christian is not enough, but ensuring that your life produces good fruit after the kind of the seed, which have been planted in us when we believed the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's allow the word of God always in our hearts, so that we can always bear good fruit that is well pleasing unto God.

Thank you Lord, for your mercy over my life. I'll no longer be spiritual barren. Prune my life again and again, so that I will forever bear good fruit unto the glory of your name, in Jesus name I pray. Amen!
